Fitness with Ilya M.

Ilya M. started his martial arts journey in 1994 and has been training regularly since. With over 19 years of training Ilya has developed a curriculum based on the effective techniques of each respective style that he has studied. The Self Defense portion is covered by Wing Chun and Jiu Jitsu, which when combined create a well balanced skill set that is easy for anyone to develop. For tournament training and fitness, Ilya incorporates several Tae Kwon Do basics as well as Muay Thai for developing power and follow through. After having taught thousands of kids and adults throughout Michigan and having helped several dojos, Ilya is now putting his passion behind the local communities he has been helping for the past 14 years of his teaching career. “My vision is to have all the local neighborhoods become Always On Alert! communities and help one another through adversity of any kind.” We’ll see you on the mats!
