I am passionate about teaching Japanese and I am willing to be as patient as needed. While there are lots of tips and tricks you can use to learn anything, in the end, building fluency in any language requires regular use of it in all aspects and the hard work of memorization. I like to really get to know my students so I can tailor lessons specifically to their needs. I believe that passion overcomes all barriers when learning a new skill, so if you're having fun, you're sure to learn!

I received my BA in Japanese From San Francisco State University in 2012. Before then I had studied abroad at Temple University Japan Campus in Tokyo for one year. In college I discovered a passion for learning and teaching foreign languages that I would love to share with others. While I am going back to school for a second Bachelors I would like to make myself available for tutoring. I have recently passed the JLPT level N2.
