Ms Tsai is definitely well deserved a 5-star rating. Frankly, she’s my 5 year old boy’s 3rd piano teacher, and she’s the BEST! I like her teaching style the most. In her class, there is a good balance between “fun” and “strict”. Secondly, Ms Tsai lays stress on basic training. That’s very important to me. My son’s previous teacher taught him many songs, but never required him to position his hands and fingers properly. I am glad Ms Tsai is willing to correct my son’s bad habits. (it’s not easy.) Last, I need to everyone that Ms Tsai is a very considerate person and always willing to work with us. My son goes to school in Katy and I work in Houston. When we have a class, I have to rush back home from Houston to pick up my son (in Katy) and then travel back to Ms Tsai’s home studio. It is not that easy to always be punctual. Ms Tsai is not rigid about the schedule at all. On top of that, Ms Tsai does not mind to spend some extra time to play with my son and communicate with me before/after the class. The effort itself is small, but the impact is great! It helped develop a bond and trust between us. What else can I ask for?
