Hi! My name is Heather and I've been shaking it since age 3 at my first dance class. I have a deep love of dance & embrace every opportunity to share the joy I experience while dancing with others. I have danced competitively and am trained in jazz, tap, ballet, modern & contemporary at the college level. I continue to take several classes each week and love discovering new styles; passionate about always learning and growing! I have danced professionally in both a salsa troupe and burlesque troupe & have studied in LA with some of the best. I specialize in hip hop and latin styles (salsa, merengue, bachata) & am a certified Zumba instructor. I've been practicing yoga and meditation for 13 years and am a certified yoga instructor. I specialize in vinyasa flow, hatha and restorative yoga practices. I am committed to this form of moving meditation on a daily basis as a way of staying mindful, centered and whole. My teaching focuses on alignment, breathing, presence and body awareness.
