No show for first lesson. Then rescheduled us twice last minute. Finally cancels completely saying he's too busy for new clients :(

Excellent experience

Love how Guillermo adjusts his style to what I need from him during every lesson. He has been incredibly creative and didn't shy away from sending me "lesson elements" via text so that I can practice properly and not forget.

He is great fun and definitely worth working with.

Great experience

I enjoyed classes with Guillermo because he was willing to teach the music I wished to learn. Meeting at the studio helped me concentrate on my guitar. He is a great teacher!

Guillermo does a great job challenging a student to excel.

My son has taken guitar lessons from Guillermo for over a year. The lessons have been a mix of technical work and exploring popular guitar themes. Guillermo has done a great job of nudging him to work hard and find new challenges that he will find interesting. I would recommend Guillermo to anyone.

Bass Guitar
Great Teacher

Guillermo has taught at the Acton Music Center since January 2006 and has proven to be a great asset to the program. He teaches guitar primarily as well as bass and piano. He has taught Jazz Ensembles, Rock Ensembles and has implemented a summer music program. The summer band camp explores various types and styles of music from reggae to Middle Eastern to SKA to jazz in a fun and innovative way.
He has also taught many workshops and devised the curriculum. Workshops have included Sight Reading, Music Theory, Guitar Effects (What they do and how they work) to name a few. All of these workshops were well attended and enjoyed.
Guillermo is professional in both attitude and demeanor and we highly recommend him.

A great music teacher

I really liked to work with him. He was making every lesson so much fun and entertaining. The practices he was giving were so useful for me to learn how to play my guitar.

Bass Guitar
Great musician and teacher

If I were looking for a guitar or bass instructor, I would take lessons from Guillermo! Guillermo began playing bass and guitar in our band, The Flying Seeds, about 3 years ago. He is a solid musician, professional, and he has a positive presence that comes through in his playing.

Guillermo is also our chart-meister - our songs have a number of stops and tempo changes -- Guillermo's charts are consistently accurate and neatly done. In the course of our rehearsals, we have learned much useful music theory from him. Above all, we just enjoy learning and performing with Guillermo.
