One of my first objectives, is to make a student enjoy each lesson. I believe that if a student feels comfortable, and has a great time learning, they're going to want to practice and learn more of the skills necessary to achieve their goals, and as a result, progress more rapidly. I like to work with several different courses that are well established and well-tested. My teaching methods also include skills and ideas that might not be found easily in common courses, but come from experiences
...
that I have developed over time. Each student learns and progresses at varying speeds. I work at finding the best way for each student to improve at a steady pace, and learn the required skills they'll need to be accomplished and satisfied musicians.
My passion is teaching! I could search my whole life, and never find anything I enjoy doing more. You could call it my "calling," for lack of a better term. That's probably why I've been so successful in my career. I've taught students as young as 4 years old, and students who are in retirement.
The success I've had, comes with years of taking private lessons, performing, studying, and always keeping an open mind to new ideas, and relating my experience with all my students.
