Lesson Details

The only thing I ask from my students is time and dedication. Not every starts out great on guitar, or any other instruments for that matter. It takes time but if they stick to it then they can achieve anything. The structure of my lessons is very simple. We first begin with standard cords such E, G, A, and so on and putting them into chord progressions. Once that has been achieved we then go on to learning simple songs. They can bring in song books by some of their favorite bands, and if they ... want I can also begin showing them scales. Such as blues scales, major, minor, harmonic minor, and a little bit of theory too. But the most important things is that we keep the lessons fun. Hi future rock guitar players. My name is Gino and I have been playing guitar since I was 16 years old. I'm 28 now and still playing with no end in sight. Out of all the genres of music my favorite has been Rock and Roll. I love it to death. I can remember learning songs by some of my favorite bands such as Led Zeppelin, Kiss, Nirvana, Oasis, Black Sabbath, Ac/Dc, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Alice In Chains, Motorhead, etc and the joy I got that a song that I once thought I could not learn I did. ... Yet like all things in life it took time and dedication, and that is all I ask for from my students. I just finished receiving my Bachelors degree in music at Whittier College and also have an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts at Fullerton JR. College. I’m here and ready to teach how to play like your Heroes.
