I have a Master's degree in Performance as a classically trained violinist. My performance and teaching abilities are not limited to just acoustic classical styles.  I have credits in several CD's and DVD's that include my playing in folk, country, jazz and rock styles.  These other areas of expertise include the electronic and improvisational aspects of violin pedagogy.

Able to instruct using Suzuki or traditional music methods.  Was a director of a Suzuki arts school in Baltimore, have freelance experience performing in Europe and the United States.  Currently working towards re-establishing my in home studio practice. Depending on the special need, yes.

Mr. Gilbert has been my son's violin teacher for a few years and I have known him to be a caring and devoted teacher. My son developed his violin skills under his tutelage. Mr. Gilbert is an outstanding violin teacher and I recommend him to every aspiring violin student.
