    Geoff is an drummer, teacher, music producer, and recording engineer based in Richmond, Virginia. He specializes in drum set and percussion performance and instruction. He also provides music recording services for musicians and bands as well as modern music production tutoring for Ableton Live. A graduate of University of Richmond, Geoff is a practicing musician of over 20 years, and now plays professionally up and down the east coast in several bands. He has studied rhythm and drumming from some of the who's who of drum instructors including, Billy Martin (Medeski, Martin and Wood), Rich Thompson (Eastman School of Music), Tobias Ralph (NYC Drummers Collective), Howard Curtis (University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria), and Tony Martucci (Virginia Commonwealth) among others. Geoff uses a tailored approach in a modern creative manner that allows each unique client to create their own path and begin achieving their music goals in a simple, fun and strategic way. Geoff has shared the stage with a multitude of inspiring musicians and bands including drummers Johnny Rabb (Biodisel), Allen Aucion (Disco Biscuits), Joe Travers (Zappa Plays Zappa), Mike Greenfield (Lotus), Darren Shearer (The New Deal), KJ Sawka (Conspirator), and Billy Martin (Medeski, Martin and Wood) among many others. *** Lesson Details *** Geoff's teaching format combines the tried and true traditional methods of the masters with the most modern tools of today's music arena. Each student has a different set of goals, a different personality, and a different experience level and Geoff has teaching formulas that truly customize each lesson experience to fully engage and inspire the student.
