I am a professional guitarist, singer, songwriter, recording artist and instructor. Between both live performance and teaching, I have over 35 years of experience. I teach lead/scales, rhythm, chords, keys, finger picking, slide guitar, alternative tunings, music theory, techniques, songs, improvising and lots, lots more, with a very strong focus on creativity and songwriting in any styles/genres on acoustic or electric guitars. I also part time teach harmonica and mandolin. Students/customers appreciate my friendly and sincere personality, abilities, passion, and patience. They also love our jam sessions, among many other things. Lessons are weekly, bi-weekly, and/or monthly. Monday through Friday. Lesson and reference materials are all free. My top student won 1st place in Guitar Player Magazine's 2006 Guitar Hero Contest. Many of my other students pass auditions, win talent contests, form bands, and become performers and recording artists or are simply happy to just sit at home and strum some chords and sing some songs alone.
