I sing and teach the bel canto method and classical piano. Music theory I test students in a subjective manor and incorporate it with their major instrument.
Lesson Details
During a students first lesson I will get to know their goals and expectations of me as a teacher. If the student is a singer I will then find their vocal range then assign them a voice type. All voice students will be required to purchase the book 24 Italian Art Songs in their correct voice type by their second lesson. Piano students will be given books to purchase as I see fit. Lessons are a safe place and the student should feel relaxed. Every three months I will test students in all areas of instruction. I promote a healthy musical lifestyle!!
I am a graduate of Seton Hill University with my B.M. in vocal performance. I have been trained in the bel-canto method by Katerina Musetti and Dr. Kelly F. Lynch.
