My name is FlavioSala and I am an Italian guitarist based in USA. I love teaching and sharing my knowledge with all my students and guitar lessons online give me chance to do that, no matter where I am or you are. Isn't that incredible? What makes me feel good and satisfied is to see that my advices, my methods, all my explanations and what I can show through two webcams, one focused on my right hand, it really works for you! I always want to read slowly the piece together with you to check all the notes, both hands, fingerings: I want to be sure that you will not be wrong at home. In this way we save time and money. I can build a personal program, depending on your skills, time you can dedicate to practice and your general level. Doesn't matter if you are going to be a professional guitarist or an aficionado: I really want to improve your playing, step by step, and, at the end of the day, enjoy music with you! My main goal is to teach to you how to walk on your own legs! Extra material for all my students! The best experience taking lessons online depends also on your equipment. I recommend the following tools: Broadband/high-speed internet: At least 1MBps upload speed (no dial up). Test your connection on speedtest and SKYPE: It's free to install and easy to use. "Mario Santoro" International Music Academy (Bojano, Italy)

From 2005 to 2008 I worked as Art Director of this Music Academy, where we organized annual specialization courses for classical and flamenco guitar, piano, violin, flute, chamber music. I have been in contact with many great musicians we invited to give lessons, such as Dario De Rosa (Trio of Trieste), Roberto Cominati (Busoni Piano Competition 1993), Pavel Vernikov, Sergej Krilov, Vincenzo Balzani, Raffaele Trevisani, Juan Lorenzo, Pasqualino Garzia and me, of course. In 2008 I also organized the Internazional Guitar Competition "Santoro Academy Prize" and 42 guitarists from 13 countries came to Bojano to compete. I learnt so much from all those experiences.
