I have been playing lead guitar since 2004 (bass guitar and drums since 2006) and have invested my life into the creative process. Over the said amount of time, I have been applying my technique to genres such as heavy metal, jazz, blues, funk, classical, and anything in between. I have written over 30 original works which include guitar, bass, drum, and vocal scores. Once the work is completed, I would proceed to creatively construct in a one-on-one or group scenario. I have also been student teacher and guitarist for the Standley Lake High School jazz band. The jazz band at Standley Lake regularly played clinics in which professional jazz musician's would critique the group on a particular set. This would include breaking it down to the single musician's parts and pin pointing strengths and weaknesses. As far as classical music, I am currently composing a series of string trios and quartets among many other chamber music. This greatly expands my perception and knowledge of pure music in general. I have done extensive research on multiple composers and their various techniques and subtle nuances. This sharpens my theory and composition knowledge and allows me to apply it to any genre. I can bestow these techniques upon my students and help them to understand the universality of music theory. *** Lesson Details *** I am a very easy going person with the ability to inspire healthy drive and ambition. I have developed an original theory technique as an expansion to my deep knowledge of traditional theory.
