I specialize in rock, metal, jazz, reggae, funk, classical, and Jazz. I use finger-picking, slapping, tapping, picking, chords, and harmony. I also have many cover tunes that I teach students. I have studied many of the best rock bands in the world.

Lesson Details

When you come to take a music lesson with me, we will start with basic techniques including beneficial exercises for the left and right hands to build the correct technique for guitar or bass. Once you are comfortable with the basic technique, we will then move on to scales, chord progression, and ear training. Once the student becomes more advanced, we will then move onto more challenging aspects of music theory. These include soloing, modes, arpeggios, bar chords, and performing. After three ... months, the student should be playing multiple songs, understand basic theory, and have a good understanding of what it takes to be a musician. After six months, the student should have learned a variety of different styles and techniques and have the ability to write songs. The students progress also depends on how much time they take to practice outside of lessons. I specialize in teaching cover songs in all styles, music theory, and songwriting. I can teach you songs from all your favorite bands. While I am laid back, I make sure the student understands the material before moving onto something new. It is important to be patient and understand that practicing is the most beneficial way to move forward fast in our lessons together, I look forward to taking on any student who has a strong passion for learning music.
