Private or Semi-Private Lessons. Children, Teens, Adults. Home School Students. Moms. Dads. Senior Citizens. Piano Lessons for all that are made to be fun! Instruction for Beginners, Age 4 to Senior Adults; or you may wish to have Refresher Instructions if you have had previous Piano Lessons and once enjoyed playing; but "Life Happens" yet you want to get back into Piano Lessons, again. I offer both Private and Semi-Private Piano Lessons. Semi-Private or Group Lessons are formed with the same age level and performance level. One month's lessons are paid prior to first lesson of the month. My educational background is a B.S. in Music Education, with Piano and Pedagogy as majors from Washington Adventist University, Takoma Park, MD. Additional credits have been earned from other Universities and Colleges. I received my Teacher's Certificate from the State of Maryland, teaching music classes K-6th Grades in the PGCPS system. When I moved to Frederick County, I continued to teach K-6th Grades as a substitute teacher for FCPS and CCPS system. Also, I opened my home studio for piano lessons. Each student receives a well-rounded program of basic music study in piano pieces, techniques, theory, and sight-reading. My experiences with teaching piano and organ lessons in my home studio for over 11 years are extremely rewarding. I am aware that each student come to me with a different abilities and learning levels. With this in mind, lessons are paced for the student's best progress and planned to be fun. My other music experiences have been as a piano or organ accompanist for church worship, choirs, and singers. Occasionally, I was asked to play for weddings and enjoyed the experience.
