I am a current student at Oklahoma City University, completing my Masters of Music in Opera Performance. I completed 5 years of undergraduate studies in vocal performance at the University of Miami Frost School of Music in Florida. I have played many roles in opera, sung a couple of roles in musical theater, and have dabbled in popular music, as well as pop songwriting. My goal is to provide a great and comfortable atmosphere for a student to grow and learn and become the best singer they can be (whether it be opera, musical theater, jazz or pop). With proper technique and dedication, there's no reason they can't reach their dreams. *** Lesson Details *** Lessons will be directed towards establishing a healthy technique in singing. Each lesson begins with a warm up, followed by an in-depth workshop of selected repertoire for the day; this includes working on technique, some music theory (if requested), acting - as it/if it is applicable to the song/genre, and overall development of the voice. *** Studio Equipment *** Teachers Studio includes: -88 Key Electric Piano -Stereo System -Studio Microphone -Recording Software -Seating/waiting area for parents *** Specialties *** Specialties are classical, musical theater and pop genres.
