Erica makes her home in Nashville after years of performing on the road with cruise ships, theme parks, and a Broadway tour. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Music in Commercial Voice from Belmont University and is currently an adjunct professor for the university. Privately, she teaches pop, country, musical theatre, jazz, rock, and folk singing. She also works closely with the youth program at Street Theatre Company, producing and directing Class Act Dramatic musicals. *** Lesson Details *** Erica works with students of all ages to study correct singing practices, increasing range, tone quality, breath support, and a well rounded repertoire. She also concentrates on the performance side of singing. This builds confidence, poise, and self-esteem in any student as well as emphasizes the importance of the story-telling aspect of a singer. She works with the student to create a curriculum that will keeps the student's goals in mind while creating an atmosphere that stimulates creativity in the teaching style that is most effective for the individual. *** Studio Equipment *** Erica teaches out of the Rob H. home studio in Goodlettsville and out of her home studio in East Nashville. *** Specialties *** All Styles: Jazz, Musical Theatre, Country, Rock, Pop, and Folk.
