Drums with Eric C.

Hello, I am writing to express my interest in becoming a private drum set/percussion instructor with TakeLessons. My name is Eric C. and I recently graduated from New York University’s Steinhardt School with a degree in Music Education. I’ve studied drum set for the past 11 years, and I’ve performed in about two dozen NYC venues in jazz, rock, orchestral, R&B, and folk settings during my stay in New York. I believe that NYU’s music education program provided me with a strong basis in teaching after I took courses in music pedagogy, practicums on most instruments, music history, theory, and ear training. I also have some practical experience from teaching 5 private students and student teaching a 9th grade band class at a public school in New York.
