Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful Guitar Teacher Eric is a wonderful guitar teacher. He has been my son's guitar teacher for 2-years. I admire the honesty and patience that he has with my son, in addition to keeping lessons fun. I admire how he stresses the basics, yet encourages my son to practice familiar songs to keep it fun for him. My favorite part is when I hear Eric and my son do a "jam" session. Not sure if that is the right word, but it sounds so cool when they play together. I highly recommend Eric as a guitar teacher. March 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Review I have found Eric to be a patient teacher and an excellent listener. I have played guitar in the past and am looking to refresh and expand my abilities. He is helping me to understand the basics of strumming, picking and chord progressions. I would highly recommend him. March 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Eric is a overall great instructor and taught me the basics in a two hour class. Eric is amazing! He taught me to play the basic cords; proper handling including how to hold a pick, how to stand and sit with the guitar, how to place your fingers on the strings, and how to pick your strings. I learned all of these things in a two hour class. Overall, I think he is a great instructor for beginners, private, and group lessons. :D Thanks, Laurenrj October 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great teacher who has many talents I am an adult who started taking a new instrument and just after a few weeks with him, I'm already able to play much more than I ever dreamed I would. He is down to earth and easy to get along with - but pushes you to always do better. I would recommend him to anyone looking to advance their skills or start from beginning like I have. July 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 Wonderful teacher! Eric is a great teacher. He has an amazing grasp of music theory which really helps when learning how to play a new instrument, especially as an adult. He's extremely patient and fun to hang out with for 1/2 hour every week. He will challenge you and keep you thinking as well as playing! September 11, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Easy to Learn From. My daughter enjoys going to her guitar lessons with Eric. He is patient and "easygoing' according to her, and he's always very pleasant to me #the mom#also. We've had a couple of time conflicts to reschedule and that has been no problem so far. My daughter was able to play "Happy Birthday" for me after just 3 lessons, which was a nice surprise. Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Music Teacher!! I have been taking Guitar and Ukulele lessons from Eric for over a year and a half and couldn't be happier! I am an adult student with a very busy and at times hectic life. I started taking guitar lessons with Eric as a way to relax and learn music which I love. I received a set of lessons as a birthday gift, I have truly enjoyed the lessons and Eric's teaching style ever since. Eric has a calm demeanor and is very knowledgeable in his craft. He is patient beyond his years and is very focused and in tuned with his students. I find myself getting better with every practice and lesson due to Eric's teaching ability. He knows how to motivate and bring out the hidden talents in his students, which is extremely impressive. Eric teaches in a comfortable and non-threatening environment. He is calm, confident and patient with his students. He understands that each student is an individual and makes the needed adjustments that benefit that student. It's obvious that Eric loves what he does and it shows in his teaching and attitude. He is upbeat and positive which makes learning from him very easy. I have spent most of my adult life as a trainer/instructor. Eric is a great example of a teacher who knows what he is doing and cares about the progress of the student. Eric is the ideal teacher if you are interested in learning and appreciate music. September 11, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome instructor who knows his stuff It was clear from my very first meeting with Eric that he had a real passion for music and a mastery of the art of guitar. His lessons are fun, he's been quite dependable, personable, and knowledgeable, and I can't wait to learn more! He has a laid back attitude which really helps his teaching. More often than once he's gone over into his own time to make sure I get a lot out of each lesson. January 25, 2011
