I have been singing my whole life. I recognize the importance music can play in a student's life. A passion for music is something to be respected,and fostered on the student's terms, using their own interests and style. I have been teaching singing formally in the elementary classroom for four years. Getting to know students individually and what drives their love of and connection to music is key in developing student success.

My name is Ellie. I graduated in 2010 with a bachelors in choral music education. I have been teaching elementary general music for four years. I have recently completed my masters in inclusive educational practices. During the summers I teach leadership skills at a Girl Scout camp, and have experience working with children ages 5 - 18.
