There are very few things that can inspire your creative side more than music. Playing the violin can give you a voice that allows you to express yourself in new and beautiful ways. No matter what age or skill level you are at, incorporating music will enrich your life more than you would ever expect. I have played the violin for over 14 years, was awarded the National High School Orchestra Award, served as the principle second violinist in the MSU Denver Symphony Orchestra for 2.5 years and have been fortunate enough to learn under the tutelage of Bradley Watson of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. I also play in two different string quartets, Mile High String Quartet and Per Vita String Quartet. Having this wide variety of experience allows me to have a very dynamic approach when teaching. I have been providing beginner violin lessons for close to 6 years now and have the patience to teach anyone with the willingness to learn. My lessons have a well rounded approach which include music theory, technique and musicality. My theory is that you will get as much out of these lessons as you put into them. Students must provide their instruments, however I can help to advise on purchase or rental. I will advise for books but ultimately they must purchase these as well.
