Hey everyone, my name is Elisa. You might have seen me perform with DMC (from RunDMC) or with bands such as Just Kait and Urban Rebel. One of my passions is being able to teach. Here's a little bit more about myself: I graduated from Berklee College of Music, with a Bachelors degree in performance and music business. I have a passion for a wide range of music including acoustic, rock, classical, jazz, hip hop and funk. I'm currently based out of Miami, Florida performing, session work, gigs and touring. With my band, Urban Rebel, our music video "Awake" broke at 1 million views on Youtube, and has topped the College radio charts. I've toured extensively nationally and internationally, performing over 200 shows a year. Most of my students have continued their studies and gone off to Berklee College of Music, and The University of Miami. *** Lesson Details *** I pride myself in taking a pretty unique approach, in that I use the students interests to present the basics, and tailor the lesson to the goals and interests of that student. I have a BA in Performance & Music Business from Berklee College of Music. I perform and teach various styles of music, from acoustic to rock and pop. *** Studio Equipment *** I have a studio in my home with a drum kit, guitars, and keyboard. I sit down with my students and go through the lesson each week. Students are welcome to bring any equipment they might need. *** Travel Equipment *** I have my gear, all I would require is their instrument, music stand and I will provide course material. *** Specialties *** For drums, I specialize in the Moler Method. Styles that I teach include jazz, rock, funk, hip hop, country and pop.
