After playing the electric bass guitar for eight years and electric guitar for six years I have decided that I want nothing more than to teach as many people as I can everything that I know by teaching private lessons! I just got accepted into the LA Music Academy in Pasadena as a Bass Guitar major and Guitar minor, however I have also decided to take a gap year before moving down there and want to teach as many kids, teens, or adults who are dying to learn either the electric bass or electric guitar as I can before I take off. I am currently available both to offer private lessons at my apartment or to drive to any locations around Portland that would be more convenient for you! All you need is your guitar! *** Lesson Details *** Being taught by one of the best Bassists in the world Troy Tipton from the Euro-Famous Band "Zero Hour", and his twin brother guitarist Jason Tipton from the same band, I strongly and proudly follow their amazing teaching methods so my students can learn to master the Bass and Guitar as fast as I was able too! I will usually first teach Bass students essential techniques like plucking, slapping, tapping, and even playing with a pick like guitarists. As for my Guitar Students we will start with the best exercises to quickly learn how to play with a pick, and then move on to cool techniques like tapping. Once students are already at a comfortable level with the Bass or Guitar I can go on with teaching music theory and reading! Lessons will be extremely fun even for a total beginner as we will start by covering easy but awesome songs as soon as possible! *** Studio Equipment *** Students that are able to come to my home studio need to bring nothing but the instrument they want to master! Students that need me to to come to their home or to an easier location will need to have their own amplifier! I will provide awesome guitar and bass effects from my Pro Tools MP9 music software!
