As a teacher, I am laid back. I have known far too many people who tell me with chagrin how they wish they had continued piano lessons, but their teacher "was just awful!" I'm fairly confident that no student has ever quit piano lessons because they didn't like music or didn't care enough. Hi- my name is Dylan. I've been passionate about music and teaching my whole life. I even tried teaching my little sister violin when she was 7 and I was 9. But in actual lessons I have taught piano, organ, music theory, improvisation (and even harpsichord!) to private students. I am comfortable teaching a wide variety of musical styles and a wide range of experience in students, but have been most useful to motivated students interested in classical music and improvisation.
