Hello! I have been teaching guitar for several years. I have experience performing, recording and writing in various genres. From originals to covers, from classical to jazz to rock pop and blues. I am also trained and experienced with developmentally disabled individuals and children with special needs. *** Lesson Details *** Students of any level are welcome in my studio. My goal is to help you learn to play your favorite songs while also improving your technical abilities. In lessons I introduce basic music theory concepts in relation to playing, so you will not only be able to play, but be able to make sense of what you’re playing. I work with each student individually based on skill level, prior knowledge (or lack thereof), and personal taste. Basically I take an acoustic guitar and use extensive techniques such as tapping, drumming, and scratching on the strings to play a whole piece of music. There are some great players in this genre, and I love to teach it to interested students.
