I have been teaching drums since 2001. I have been playing professionally since 1979

Drum Instructor

I teach basic to advanced students. I teach how to read drum music and also the Nashville Number system.  I think it's a good idea to learn how to read because it makes you understand drumming and how it works in relation to songs you want to play.  I will teach you how to play songs too.

I"m a professional drummer that has been playing since I was 12 years old. I started playing professionally in high school.  I played in local bands thru the early 1980's and then started working with Nashville acts like Little David Wilkins, John Conlee, The Whites and Shelby Lynne.  Moved back home in the mid 90's and started my own band.  Have been working with other acts while I started teaching in 2001.  I still teach and perform full time.
