I've been playing piano since I was 10. I had 4 years of formal classical piano training while I was a kid and then 4 years of jazz piano in college. As a performer I can play any style. I write and produce music at my studio and therefore have a lot of knowledge on how music works in both live and studio situations. Playing with midi controllers, synths, keyboards and organs is something I do on a daily basis.
As a teacher I emphasize technique and understanding of theory - because its with those two principles that we'll be able to build a foundation for you that will allow you to create any music you want.
I feel comfortable teaching any age from Beginner to Advanced.

I am a VOICE and PIANO teacher living in Astoria, Queens. I specialize in all levels and styles including Opera, Rock, Pop, Theater, Classical, etc. I have worked professionally as a performer for the past 15 years and as a teacher for 5. I've toured the world as the lead in Rock of Ages, and have performed regionally across the country in countless shows. I've taught students from 5 years old to 30 years old.
