Hi, my name is Dayeon. I'm from Korea and this is my 7th year in America.
I mostly spent my time to study performance jazz drum set, I did my undergrad at Berklee college of Music and master's degree at NYU.
My main instrument is drum set (have experience with various genres) but I used to play classical piano quite serious when I was younger so I can teach classical piano from basic to middle level.
Also, I was hugely into teach ear-training stuffs as well so, I sort of have a curriculums what/how to teach, if you're interested in.
As you assumed, I can teach in both Korean and English.

I played in some venues in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and New Jersey such as Tomi's jazz, Somethin' jazz, IBeam, Cafe Vivaldi, etc. I won several competition in Korea from the age of 14 to 20 (including festivals and competitions), and have an experience of touring to Japan.
