I've been teaching and playing the piano for 20 years. My main intention in piano instruction is to combine ear training and theory, improvisation and fun into every lesson!

I have studied music since I was seven years old, and I have a real passion for sharing music with others. I have 2 bachelors degrees in music, (one in music education, one in performance) from Brooklyn College, and a masters degree from Manhattan School of Music. I perform regularly around the world, and I use my real world experience to hone in on what you need to accomplish your musical goals. I have spent substantial time in New York City Public School music classrooms assisting and teaching with fellow instructors, and my private students have gained awards and admission to regional and state honor groups.

I have had three classes so far with David, but already from the first class I knew he was supreme! He is an excellent teacher and an excellent musician. What keeps impressing me is his ability in understanding exactly what I am doing wrong while I play just by hearing the sound of the trumpet. Super!
