Welcome! Music is such a special part of being human, and I believe anyone who wishes to play music is able to develop a deep, fulfilling and life-affirming connection with it. I hold a bachelor's degree in Music from USC’s Thornton School and have taught music at the Wesley School in North Hollywood for the past nine years. I work with musicians of all levels in piano and voice, and work with beginning guitar students. For me, music is a society. It is a space into which the best of human creativity and human hope and aspiration can enter and prosper. It is also perhaps the most complicated and most sophisticated of all human activities. And it comes down to feelings and story. I encourage my students to follow their inspiration and get to know themselves as an artist with a voice. I provide basic technical training in the hopes that at a certain point they will be able to get their own music that they hear in their heads out into the world. I am passionate about unlocking and developing creativity in artists of all ages, and have extensive experience working with children and adolescents. I played piano for FX's "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia", developed lead characters for Broadway shows, composed theme songs and jingles for KYSR & online platforms, and have had my music placed on TV (CW: 90210, One Tree Hill)
