Before David, he never practiced at home. He had his weekly group lesson at school but I knew something was wrong. When I asked him to practice, he never wanted to. After David taught him the notes he did not know and showed him a passion and enthusiasm towards the instrument, my son has blossomed into loving his recorder. He plays it throughout the day and loves his weekly lesson with David. Just the other day, his recorder teacher at school commended him on being an excellent player and asked him to play a duet with her at the Spring Concert. My son's confidence has really grown and he is so proud that he was chosen out of the 13 students to play with her. Thanks, David for being a great teacher. David professionally plays many instruments and has a love for music that is contagious. He knows how to positively reinforce a child's learning and is funny too.

David is great he motivates my son, provides correction with kindness. Provides helpful suggestions in technique, practice form. It is fun for my son to learn the drums. My son has tried other instructors without having the same motivation and fun so this is refreshing easy way to get him lessons.

My 9-year old daughter first encountered David when he was giving piano lessons to her friends at their house, and she immediately liked him and asked if he could be her teacher too. He started with us last summer (7 months ago); he comes to our house weekly and she really enjoys the lessons. While he is a very serious teacher with extensive musical knowledge, he has sensed that what my daughter needs to stay focused is a fun and relaxed atmosphere, so the lesson doesn't feel like a chore. They joke around a lot, but in fact he has the ability to get her to try ever more difficult pieces, and he inspires her to practice a lot. He can be tough with her and really push her to improve, but it works because they have such a good rapport. We are very pleased with her progress and very happy to continue working with David. He is a real find.

David is an excellent teacher and his dependability has helped my son so much and encouraged him to want to be great and he is already thinking of the next instrument he would like to master after he "masters the drums". Thank you David

My 4 1/2 year old son LOVES David and can't wait for his piano lessons!! David is patient and controlled and helps Aaron really understand what he is doing and why. He loves playing the piano almost as much as he loves Sponge Bob. And that's saying A LOT!!!

I came from a background without any understanding of instrument and David has really improved my ability in a relatively short time. David really knows his theory and practical applications of music. He is always patient and versatile in the ways he gets you to understand an important detail. You can tell he has such a mastery of music in the different ways he breaks down complex ideas into very simple concepts. Even when I haven't been able to practice, he's been able to make lessons very productive and include new material. His thoroughness and love for music inspires you to have fun with it and enjoy as well.
