Vocal Training with Danielle W.

Ms. Danielle was an awesome teacher! I used to have a very tense voice with a short range. Ms. Danielle helped me release that tension, expand my vocal range, and even helped me discover that I was counter tenor. When it came time to pick songs to work on to increase my repertoire, she picked songs that provided enough of a challenge to make me use all she taught me, but not so much that the song became impossible. Ms. Danielle also gave great advice when I was auditioning for various singing groups and helped me work on my audition pieces, helping me with both my singing, as well as my acting. Most importantly, Ms. Danielle became a true friend. I have never had such a close relationship with a teacher. I trusted her with secrets that only she and my family knows about. She gave great advice on life as well as the performing arts and always cheered me up when I was feeling down. I am truly lucky to have met her. If you are looking for a great teacher who will also become one of your closest friends, Ms. Danielle is the person for you.

Danielle is the best!! My daughter is a classically trained singer who has taken voice lessons from the best, and while I have never really had lessons before becoming Danielle's student at 48, I was well versed in what to look for in a voice teacher. However, I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to learn anything. I'd had a lesson once before with a teacher my daughter learned quite a bit from; and had NO idea what the teacher was trying to explain; every now and then I'd so something right, but it was sheer luck because I happen to be able to sing naturally! Danielle was amazing with me as a non-traditional student; she was so helpful, encouraging and most important, knowledgeable!! She was able to explain concepts quite foreign to me in a way I could understand and apply. She is very fun, energetic all while keeping you on task. With Danielle, I learned that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks!!! If she hadn't moved so far, I would still be with her today!! While I haven't continued with lessons, I still practice the techniques she taught me and have a better understanding of my voice as an instrument! I also witnessed the amazing progress that her more traditional young students achieved while working with her at my daughters school. Kids who had a nice voice and could carry a tune, but I wouldn't say could actually sing well, Danielle turned into legit singers; I saw this with both male and female vocalists. Whether you are a young student interested in classical training, musical theater, or just an old dog looking to improve your singing, I would highly recommend Danielle to help take you to the next level!

Ms. Danielle is an amazing voice teacher that helped me improve not only my singing voice and my confidence. Her amazing attitude made me more comfortable during lessons and she introduced me to great new opportunities to expand my singing experience.
