    About Daneeta S.

I have both personal and professional experience tutoring/teaching. At the age of 12 I started taking care of my younger sister, who has special needs, after school. I not only provided her snacks and safety, but I also tutored her and assisted her with her homework, including math, reading, writing, and spelling. Professionally, I have served in school as a math tutor for sixth grade students, developing and implementing lesson plans, revising them when necessary, to meet the specific needs of students. I have also held the position of Brain Trainer, through which I worked with children ranging from five to seven years old, helping them to strengthen their cognitive skills. Through my experiences I have learned that every child has their own unique personalities, characteristics, gifts, and learning styles, and I enjoy helping them to explore and cultivate them. Outside of teaching/tutoring, I have been acting for nearly six years now and I am currently completing training as a wellness-life coach.

Danee’ta S’s passion for the arts is undeniable. She has been singing and dancing since she was a child, but her love for acting is no less. Danee’ta began seriously pursuing acting after portraying Ruth in the AACPVAC production of “A Raisin in the Sun,” under the tutelage of Dr. Herman LeVern Jones. That production opened the door for her to portray “Detective White” and “Victoria Smiles” in the Prime Factor Films independent films, “The List” and “Checkmate,” respectively. She has also participated in different theatre productions, musicals, television shows, and featured films, granting her the opportunity to work with great directors to include Mr. David Rainey. Danee’ta enjoys the process of acting; lending herself to the character to tell the story in a way that the audience understands, enjoys, and takes something with them when they leave. She likes participating in funny, educational, encouraging, and uplifting productions, as well as those with compelling messages. Her ultimate goal is to inspire and touch young women all over the world, through the arts as well as through her group B.O.L.D.- Beautiful Outstanding Ladies of Destiny.
