Danaila is an exceptional teacher! I, without a doubt recommend her for those seeking a piano teacher. She is very patient with my 6 year old. She teaches at the child's level and understands the child and makes learning fun!

Danaila is great! I could not have imagined a better teacher. I am studying classical technique and she is the perfect teacher. She is very knowledgeable and patient. I love that she challenges me to do an exercise better, or in a way I never thought of doing it before. She is helping me further develop my enunciation of proper vowels and consonants and doesn't let it slide when I get one wrong, instead she gently redirects so that I focus on not making the same mistake twice. She definitely knows what she is doing, and I know I can continue to learn a lot from her for a very long time!

Here's why Danaila is a truly great teacher: firstly, she sees you as an individual, not as "generic, lowly student 357." She also has a great way of helping one overcome their preconceived limitations. Such a skill comes from both technical knowledge and an intuitive understanding, in this case, of the voice. She has both in spades. Add on top of that, she has a sincere enthusiasm when she teaches, which is contagious and makes the learning process enjoyable.

My first lesson with Danaila was a wonderful experience. She diagnosed my strengths and weaknesses and began working to improve my voice. She also sent me home with great exercises to work on. She is quite pleasant and very professional. I'm looking forward to each and every lesson.
