    An award-winning composer with experience teaching Piano, Music Theory, and Music Composition, Dale's teaching draws on a background of 15 years of piano study and six years of teaching. Her current students range from ages 4 to 40 and have played classical works by Beethoven and Chopin, film scores by John Williams, classical rock favorites, and top pop hits. Dale's eclectic experience as a pianist she has performed classical, musical theater, and pop music ”translates to an open-minded, knowledgeable approach in her lessons, whether she's teaching beginning or advanced students. Dale is a native of Chatham, New Jersey. She moved to Los Angeles in 2009 to pursue her Master of Music degree in Music Composition from the University of Southern California, which she received in 2011. At USC, Dale studied Composition and Piano and served as a Teaching Assistant for the Music Theory department. Dale is an accomplished composer who has won numerous awards and commissions for her music, and her compositions have been performed widely across the U.S. and internationally. *** Lesson Details *** Are you looking for a friendly, experienced teacher who wants you to play the music you love? Then I'm a great fit! I love helping students learn music that they're passionate about while teaching them excellent technique. My teaching style is all about you; while I have tried-and-true methods and teaching strategies that have worked well for my students in the past, I'm always open to changing my approach or arranging a piece so that my students remain excited and engaged in their music. My diverse studio ranges from beginners to more advanced students.
