I have a BA in music, with an emphasis in Vocal and Piano studies. I am a singer/ songwriter and have experience composing using the piano, guitar, and cello. My background includes both jazz and classical studies, and I specialize in working with students on a variety of styles. I'm also an advocate of music therapy and train students to gain confidence, develop resources to connect their feelings to the music, and have developed my own theories about voice, songwriting, and performance therapy. I specialize in meditative techniques for vocalists that are proven to be effective, and enjoy working with pianists and guitarists to better their technical skills, relax their muscle groups, and truly connect to the instrument. All students get theory and ear training assistance, learn to sight read, sing and play at the same time, and most of all have fun with lessons!
