    About Colleen P.

    After an illustrious childhood in the performing arts, Colleen was awarded the Excellence in Performance Scholarship to attend the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music where she performed as principal flutist with the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, as well as in chamber ensembles and Pacific Flute Choir. She also plays trumpet and was principal of the University Concert Band, marched and toured nationally with the Sacramento Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps, and continued at Mandarins through 2008 as a brass instructor. Colleen also performed as an actor, dancer, and playwright for the Pacific theatre arts department, earning an Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship Nomination, the William Wollack Playwriting Award, had her plays performed, and spent a summer at the Kennedy Center Summer Playwriting Intensive in Washington, D.C. Colleen holds a B.A in Theatre Arts from University of the Pacific, an MFA in Screenwriting from National university, and loves teaching music.
