Flute with Claire M.

Claire teaches private lessons, does group coaching and freelances as a solo, chamber, jazz, and orchestral performer. She started playing flute at an early age and participated in various youth band and orchestra programs. After high school, She studied music at Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music where she studied with Norma Rogers, the former piccoloist of the Nashville Symphony. After graduating from Vanderbilt, she earned a master's degree in flute performance from Austin Peay State University, under the tutelage of Dr. Lisa R. Wolynec. Claire has participated in the masterclasses of Bradley Garner, Randy Bowman, Stephen Preston and Goran Marcusson and other highly accomplished flutists. *** Specialties *** I teach classical music including band, orchestral and chamber music.
