Jazz drumset is my main focus but I am comfortable in any musical setting, classical percussion as well as modern settings on any percussion instrument, I am very competent on the ukulele and passed 4 semesters of music theory. I played cello for a year in high school. I also have passed semesters of cello, bass, violin, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, and voice. I have also passed 4 semesters of piano class.

Chris started taking drum lessons at the age of eight and hasn't stopped drumming since. From grade school until high school graduation he took drumset lessons from Mark Logsdon, a widely respected teacher, studio and touring artist. While attending college at Eastern Michigan University, Chris studied in the studio of John Dorsey. ukulele, and other instruments as well. Chris has spent extensive time gigging in jazz clubs, big bands, combos, and musical theater orchestra pits. He has also studied classical percussion extensively and has performed with many ensembles. He loves teaching, and has taught many drumlines, marching band pits, percussion ensembles, as well as numerous individual drumset and classical percussion students.
