Lesson Details
Students are motivated through challenging yet achievable curriculum design. They will learn:
Read musical notes and chords
Build strength in technique and proper hand and arm positioning and posturing
Develop unique performance style and musicianship
Training musicianship: basic theory, aural skills, sight-reading, solfege
Creative: basic song-writing, fundamental of improvisation
Genre: Classical, romantic, 20th Century and Contemporary, Jazz, Pop and Movie theme
After 3-6 months study, students can start the musician's track right away and achieve successful learning habits.
Christine has been a private music instructor for TakeLessons since 2010. Christine is a certified local music teacher.

My Specialties
My studio mainly focuses on classical, popular, jazz. My goal is to install a sense of music appreciation and value of learning, while at the same encouraging parents to play an active role in motivating students. I’ve incorporated creative elements to expand children’s interests by organizing field trips, integrating multicultural lessons and incorporating a wide range of activities and learning projects. By utilizing these effective methods, I am able to reach out to each student, introduce new concepts, and foster a fun learning environment. I regard education as fundamental to positive change not only in the lives of children, but socially as well.

Chrissy is like easy listening music!
Chrissy is a delightful person and an excellent teacher. She provides guidance when and as needed and allows me to find my own way when I want and am able to do so! She understands how to help me and that my young grandson needs a very light hand so that he will not be turned off by piano lessons as "work" and something that is not "fun." He sees me enjoying my time with Chrissy and the music and one of these days he will be able to read and really get involved, too!

Great teacher
Christine is a very patient and sweet piano teacher for our 5 years old son.
She knows how to help him to focus on his lesson and he always have a great time with her.

How To Sign Up
Review the TakeLessons teachers in your area. Find the teacher you like the best and either book online or call/email a TakeLessons Student Counselor to book your lessons. You will then choose a day and time that works best for you, select your lesson package and pay via credit or debit card to book your lessons.
After you have booked your lessons, your instructor will contact you within 1-2 days. This gives the instructor a chance to introduce him or herself, and make sure everything is set for your first lesson.
