I have a lot of personal experience playing all of these instruments with various musical groups, and a lot of experience professionally recording and writing my own songs. I can teach from my own experience, but can also adapt to the particular styles and genres the student is passionate about. I specialize in Rock primarily. However, I was first chair saxophone in the San Diego Youth Symphony and have a very strong understanding of the finer and more technical aspects of music.
Lesson Details
The most important thing to remember when learning an instrument is to have fun! If you are not enjoying it, than the point of learning music is lost. I strive to keep my students entertained while still learning and improving their skills. As a tutor I am not incredibly strict, however, I do require the respect of my students and require them to take each lesson seriously.
