I teach many styles: blues, classic rock, modern rock, pop, alternative, heavy metal, punk, jazz, country, jamming, improvisation, composition, songwriting, acoustic, folk, and more. I can customize a method based on your musical goals, whether you want to strum songs around the camp fire, learn to sing and play, write songs, shred, improvise, or learn about scales and theory. Come visit my studio and check it out! *** Specialties *** I am really great with beginners young and old. I have a lot of patience and I can help you overcome the obstacles all beginners face. And it is ok if you don't feel you have any "natural" talent, I didn't either. I can help you. For more advanced students I have a great blue's method that teaches you to improvise almost right away. Bending, vibrato, and phrasing are so much more important than just learning scale patterns. I also teach "shredding" and if you are looking to play like Eddie Van Halen or Slash or get into some really technical playing, like sweep picking, I have helped countless people achieve their goals in these areas. I also don't mind helping acoustic players learn how to sing and play. Even if it is Talyor Swift or some pop country tune, I will teach it to you. I am more interested in helping you learn the music that inspires YOU, regardless of the style or genre. I am very open minded and open to all ideas. I also love writing songs and I can help you become a great song writer, too. Everybody has the ability to write music and be creative and I can help your tap into you creative side.
