My name is Cheyenne J H and I am a jazz pianist, composer, and electronic music producer based in Pittsburgh, PA. I studied jazz at the University of California, Los Angeles, obtained a masters degree in music composition from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and was a busy instructor and performer through the San Francisco Bay Area for the past 7 years including a 6 year residency as the pianist at Zuni Cafe in San Francisco. I have performed at Yoshi's in San Francisco as well as numerous other venues. I have taught privately for 17 years and taught at two bay area music schools over the past 3 years. As a piano instructor, I emphasize note reading, rhythm, as well as incorporating some improvisation into lessons as well. I want my students to achieve their musical goals and am flexible in terms of style and repertoire. I also have many years of experience working with digital audio workstations such as Logic and Pro Tools.
