B I O G R A P H Y I was born and raised in London England, where I first discovered my love of music. Growing up I studied classical piano for 10 years, and was educated through the Royal Associated Board and Trinity College. Moving to the states, I carried my musical passion and took further instruction in voice, guitar, saxophone, and violin. I graduated in 2011 from a pioneering local music school and have maintained a home teaching studio for several years. I have experience working with students from all ages and musical backgrounds, primarily working on improvisation, theory and composition. D E T A I L S Charlie believes that learning an instrument should primarily be an exciting and gratifying endeavor, although this does not negate the fact that diligent practice will directly lead to excellence and growth. With every student, the goal is for an enjoyable and fulfilling learning experience, meeting and surpassing potential. Whether students aim to brush up on technical skills or start from page one, lessons will be tailor made for each individual to realize as much measurable growth as possible. Classical lessons are generally taught out of the Alfred's method, but are adaptable to each students desires and needs. Students will grow in skills such as note reading, improvisation, composition and music theory. I look forward to helping you meet whatever musical goal you may have and am excited to see growth, development and creativity. E Q U I P M E N T Students are expected to provide books for note taking along with music textbooks. Students should also have access to a piano/keyboard/guitar for regular practice.
