Shelly has earned a Master's degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at UT San Antonio and a Bachelors in Music Education at SAGU. Currently, Shelly is a music teacher at K-6 elementary school. She loves to teach music and watch her students grow into musicians. *** Lesson Details *** The goal of my lessons is to create an environment in which all students are encouraged to explore their musical interests. I believe that every person has the capability to create and enjoy music, regardless of age or level. It is my hope that each student achieves more than they thought possible. Students are expected to prepare throughout the week on assignments and repertoire in order to insure that lessons are productive. Lessons include technique training, theory, and repertoire with music from the Baroque era to the 20th century. *** Travel Equipment *** I would expect them to provide their own piano and purchase their books. I will provide any extra material for activities and rewards.
