I teach all styles of guitar (Classical, Flamenco, Latin, Jazz, Blues, and Popular styles). I have over 30 years teaching experience and hold Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees from California State University-Northridge, California Institute of the Arts, and the University of California,Santa Barbara.
I have done extensive post-doctoral study in Paris, Avignon, Toulouse, and Metz, France and Montréal,Québec. I am fluent is Spanish, Italian, and French, and hold associate degrees in Italian and French from Los Angeles Pierce College.
I am an active composer, arranger, band leader, performer, recording artist, and producer. I also teach Composition, Theory, Orchestration-Arranging, Musicianship, and Music History and Appreciation.
