I grew up in a very musical family. Since I was surrounded by music, I took an interest in learning piano at an early age. I started taking lessons at age four, and I continued studying piano, from a variety of wonderful and distinguished teachers straight through college. I was awarded a double music scholarship for piano

performance and a Presidential academic scholarship at Elmhurst College.
I majored in music and psychology, and graduated summa cum laude in May 2007. In college, I took courses in music theory, piano performance, piano pedagogy, educational psychology, and developmental psychology. I began teaching piano lessons during college, and continued to teach lessons in Illinois until 2010. In 2011, I moved to Wisconsin and started a new piano studio. In addition to teaching, I have accompanied church services, high school choirs, voice recitals, and musical theater.
Currently, I am a member of the Milwaukee Area Piano Teacher’s Association. I continue to learn as much as I can about teaching piano.
Based on my experience in music, I make piano lessons creative and fun!
