    About Caroline A.

I love working students to help them find their true authentic artistic selves. With a passionate dedication to expression in music and theatre, my studio provides a nurturing environment for students of all levels to grow, learning skills in technique, musicianship, musicality, character work, theory, and professionalism. A working singer/actor, composer and director, I enjoy an active career performing in Musicals, Plays and Operas in Regional Theaters and companies around the country, directing shows, and teaching music and theatre skills to children, teens, and adults. A Youth Theatre Specialist and Founding Artistic Director of Lyricabella Productions, I have worked with young artists for the past 25 years, teaching voice, acting, movement, musical theatre, tap, and composition, and directed thousands of young artists at venues including ACT, New Conservatory Theatre, Playhouse West, San Diego Junior Theatre, Walnut Creek Civic Arts, San Francisco Opera Guild in California; TADA! and Stagedoor Manor in New York; and Pineapple Studios in London's Covent Garden. I have also written 4 musicals for youth. As Education Director for San Francisco Opera Guild, I created the Summer Training Conservatory, and the classroom programs, Book to Bravo and Voices for Social Justice, as well as the anti-bullying touring show, "How Andy Found His Voice". I strongly believe in the power of art to create stronger individuals and communities, and foster deeper communication, understanding, and empathy in the world.
