Lesson Details

My lessons aid students in developing strong technique as well as a deeper understanding and passion for music. Building on each student's strengths and weaknesses, I will customize each lesson, tayloring to specific needs and desires. Piano lessons will use a set curriculum but vocal lessons use music and exercises more specific to the student's desires.

My goal is for your lessons to be rewarding and fun, and give you the tools to make your voice and/or piano skills the best they can be. Whatever your goals, I am here to help you achieve them.

I have always had a love for music and began playing the piano at the age of 3. My mother was my piano teacher and my father was my band teacher so to say the least, music has always been a huge part of my life.

I have a master's degree in Choral Conducting, and a bachelor's degree in Music ... Education Pre-K -12th grade from the University of Wisconsin. For over 25 years I taught vocal and general music as well as piano and voice lessons. While I was teaching at Waunakee Community High School in Wisconsin, my husband's job transferred us to Plano, and more recently to Fort Worth.

I am excited about the opportunity to get to know you as you perfect a skill that will last a lifetime.
