Good teacher are far and between....
My voice teacher Carla H is a very good teacher.
She is pleasant, has patience, and gives me a confidence.
I am a senior citizen and my voice to improve from zero to ....... Certainly she gave me that confidence I needed. I know it is long way to go and I don't know I will be here in this world, but certainly I am enjoying taking lessons from her.

1st teacher to identify my problem!
I have struggled w/ my break/passagio for sometime and would work on a song with my high range for 1-2months and then loose my voice on performance. Carla imediatly identified my problem and knows exactly how to fix it. I have been seeing improvement the past few weeks. What more can I ask for!

Carla has taken my singing ablility to an entirely new level
Hello,
My name is Ashley Gangadean, and I have been taking lessons through take lessons with Carla Halderbrand for about two months. I wanted to take the time to say that she has helped me on multiple levels and has progressed my singing ability to an entirely new level. She is very professional and very meticulous about reaching the goals that I have set for myself as a musician. She is a true gem in the world of vocal teachers and you are lucky to have her on board! I wish that I could continue to take lessons with her, however, I am facing financially burdening times. I know that as soon as I am in a better position, I will be contacting you to get lessons from Carla undoubtedly! Thank you again for networking me to Carla H. It has been a pleasure working with her!
Sincerely,
Ashley Gangadean

Very pleased
Just a note to let you know how pleased I am with my vocal coach, Carla H. in Seattle. She has not only improved my confidence level be has given me the skills to noticeably improve my range and tone. I am now returning to performing professionally after 12 yrs. of inactivity.
Thank you Carla!

Great teacher for adults
As an adult beginning singer, sometimes unlearning bad habits is as important as learning new ones. Carla has been great at helping me with this. She has helped me to relax while singing and has taught me a lot of good technique. Best of all she is a fun and engaging person who is a pleasure to interact with.

Elizabeth
Carla is fantastic - Elizabeth is having a wonderful time - although Elizabeth participates and enjoys many activities, I have never seen her so enthused with any one thing. She really likes Carla.

Fun Humor and Music Too
I have been having a great time learning from Carla. She is very, very patient as I struggle (at times) to go forward into a new experience. She intuitively understands where I am as I go along, is very positive in rewarding my accomplishments. Homework is pertinent to what I wish to accomplish and she suggests things like going to Compline and the opera to more fully grasp the nature of music. Sort of like a one person field trip! I continue to look forward to each new lesson and I feel very positive about myself and my abilities because of her teaching method, personality, and her complete grasp of the subject matter.
